This was discussed a little last season, but can you think of another team that has more news-worthy stories and controversy surrounding it than QPR in the last few years? We've had relegations and promotions, two deaths, a full-on brawl with the Chinese youth team, an armed ambush in the board room, Faurlin-gate, the one man transfer rumour that is Adel. Just some of it was enough to sustain a feature length documentary!

And it seemed that when the goons finally left that things would settle a little in that respect. But it appears that almost nothing has changed. The Ferdinand/Terry debacle for example. And signing Joey Barton was always going to keep the soap opera ticking over too. It seems that there is always a news story just around the corner with Rangers.

But my question to you is this, would you trade all the drama in for a being a boring, mid-table, nothing to shout about team like, say, Villa or Everton?

I, for one, generally enjoy having a lot to discuss, all the ups and downs and the controversy. But I'm starting to feel like we could do with a couple of years of mundanity (which apparently is in fact a word)

I know what you mean ColdharbourR! I for one would love a bit of Everton 'mundanity' for a couple of years (not so much Villa...)! Just to be a stable Premier League side, usually mid-table with the potential to sometimes have a go at the top teams would be wonderful, and something I've never personally experienced... stability at any level that is... given that my first game was West Ham in 1996 (I was 5 years old) - think of the rollercoaster we've been on since then! However, even if we stay up this season, it won't be all quiet on the Western Front; a new stadium in prospect, academy status being sought, and another nail-biting season in the top flight! Here's to being an RRRs supporter <cheers>

I'd love 10 mins of calm just to get my breath back.

Never happens but I'd probably prefer the drama to none at all.

Can anyone imagine QPR without a crisis/drama/soap opera/disaster*?
