That does not sound enough for a comfortable finish unless it is going to be a low points season. I dare say there will be some twists and unexpected turns along the way. This weekend, however, is as absolute a six pointer as can be!!
Before last weekend I had us on 18 more - with 5 wins but only 3 draws. Looking over the run-in list on the OP, though,, I can't for the life of me see where I thought that 5th win was coming from. I think it\s gonna be close - hopefully 50 will be enough and if it is, hopefully we'll get the 50
I've learned that football on paper (or the screen) is so distorted and different from the actual real thing. What you can feel in one moment in front of a computer or anywhere else will be moved aside by the thousands of different feelings you can feel at any point about your club during a season.
We simply have to beat all the bottom half teams we play at home, February will give us a fair idea of what may happen with Barnsley, Bolton and Forest, if we fail to win one of those three we are well and truly in the mire...
Anything can happen so I agree too early Good that the pressure is cranked up makes it more enjoyable imo. The best any sensible QPR fan could of hoped before the season was survival. That has to see as successful The club has been dreadfully managed a complete mess and TF has to take the failure on the chin. His spin has finished most aren’t buying it anymore. I support Holloway to the end of play simply because he cares for our club nothing more made that very clear. The luxury of finding a decent manager will come. He has to be supported to get us through these dark times. TF, Harold and the awful performance of some of the previous playing staff are far higher on my hate list. It has to break within before we have any chance of reform. So when all said and done that’s the time to look at managers etc. Who could be happy with how QPR are currently? We as fans have made our life choice and shouldn’t change. A West London club with our pedigree of course it’s disgusting but I say QPR fans are a lot better than that and we will recover from all the idiots that have ruined the club we follow That’s why I support Holloway and this current team ... they actually do really care That’s enough for me currently until things change and they will.
True. Like beating Wolves and Cardiff. Thank goodness for our early (mostly unexpected) points otherwise we would be in the mire right now.
Very true. The points analysis is "logicial", whilst our play is "inconsisitent". I expect us to grab a suprise win, or even two, from the "difficult" games and to drop some points agianst easier oppositions.
We need another 19 points to almost guarantee retaining our championship status. ( I think only one team has been relegated with 52 points. ) We can't score and we can't keep a clean sheet so I can't see us getting those 19 points from those games. I think it will be a case of hoping that 3 other teams teams perform worse than us.
We played such rubbish in the last two games, I'm not feeling optimistic. Still, the team under Holloway does strange things. Over 80,000 watching Spurs beat ManU last night. It's another world...
Hello Mate. I was quite concerned when I looked at those games and it seems that concern is shared by most of us. Not surprising I suppose. I hate it when we are relying on others to do badly. Sad old days.
You never know mate, hopefully a good win and three points on Saturday sends us on a little run so we don't have to keep looking over our shoulder.
