So Tony says(forgive me as I can't cut and paste them on me phone) "Doesn't matter where a player goes if its a different league and a loan" "Some players want to play in the Premier League due to World Cup. Loans are a good option." So that's Cheerio Remy for now then. But Harry's "no loans" rant kind of contradicts that doesn't it. Those two boys eh.........
Sounds more like Cesar to me. Would be a poor move to loan (or sell) Remy - need goals in the Championship. This Monsieur was born to score.
If that's the case, it will be a good thing for all involved. The guy wants to stay, so do most if not all the fans ................ he just needs the love from Harry and to play. He'll then get his mojo back.
We want Ale! We want Ale! We just have to trust Harry and Steve on this one. Maybe he is just not the player he was despite being a fans' favourite.
It seemed pretty obvious to me - but then so too did the existence of space bats - that there have been some reasonable tactics at play here since relegation. Firstly, immediately get rid of those players that you can get rid of because their contracts can be cheaply bought out or cancelled. Secondly, sell those players that you already have offers for. Thirdly, tell the market that it sales only and not loans (but you know that loans are an option once you've determined the interest from the market). In the meantime don't offer new contracts to current players until the picture in terms of who's gone and who's left is a little clearer. Don't sell unless you have a replacement lined up or in-house. If you look at the list of The Gone & The Going, these tactics appear to be working just fine.
He tweeted it along with the tweets in the OP. brilliant news, would hate to see him leave. I would play him and Henry together in central midfield.
