I actually meant to post this earlier in the week but never got around to it and nobody else did either. Tony Gubba died this week and it has largely gone unnoticed. To be fair, he was never the greatest, but he was a safe pair of hands and often got the less glasmorous gigs behind Barry Davies and John Motson. He was however professional and a darn sight better than a lot of the muppets that BBC and ITV churn out these days. A good career and another good 'un down.
