The Irish version of MOTD just insinuated Tony Fernandes is on his way!

Now I don't know what they know or don't know but I found it an amazing thing to say. Could this be the big announcement for tomorrow?

I'd be surprised - I think he's fallen in love with the club.

He's getting good publicity for his interests from a business pooint of view.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mittals increased their shareholding to take the financial burden away from the significantly less rich (I won't use the word poor for a multi-millionaire) Fernandes but can't see anything else happening from an outside perspective.

After what TF wrote in the last programme (versus Stoke) and what he has said, there is no chance of him leaving. He's having the time of his life. I just hope he (and his mates) can afford it!

It has been rumoured a lot recently. I, for one, hope not, he has been such an improvement on Briatore and Paladini.

Still think Amit and Mittals will put more money in,

Too many future plans and building blocks going in for people to leave.

"they may not be his players next year" I took this to mean that players will be on their way and not Fernandes.

Think you've got the wrong end of the stick here Swordsie. TF must be getting everything he wants from the club - survival, publicity, kicks.....everything his F1 team isn't giving him, hence his decision to be in Manchester rather than Barcelona today.
