We know that he is not the most wealthy person around but I now believe he has that 'something special' that makes a successful business man. Throughout the trials of the last 5 months he has kept solid, been encouraging and never seemed to doubt that we would do it (I think he did have one rant after one ridiculous loss). He has been proved right. We all know that we are fortunate to have this guy at the helm (especially when compared to The Orange One) but I think we 'ain't seen nothing yet'! The training ground really is just the start. I'm certain the stadium is already well ahead in planning and, of course, some quality signings to come. Start saving up lads and lasses. There are going to be more games to go to starting with a proper FA and League Cup run and (eventually) onwards into the lower eschalons of Europe. The future is bright blue and white hoops for a long time to come. (PS Don't complain when the ST prices are announced. We might be lucky and get a freeze but likely a moderate rise).
Anyone who has seen his F1 team perform will know there is no Midas touch here, just a bloke with a real passion for sport. The real future lies in the hands of the Mittals I believe who must surely be providing the majority of the funding. Here's hoping their enthusiasm is now fully rekindled: if so there are no limits...
Yep. I fear there's something going on behind closed doors there.. Barely a peep has been heard from Amit for the last couple of months..
Remember, there are others behind Fernandes. It is not just him (and I am not talking about Mittal's shares).
