Why not just post the tweets? 1. Many fans attacking me. Doing our best. As I said we won't stop trying. As I have said many times I take all ... 2. Always spirit up. If can't fix it I will be first to go. Makes more sense.
Fantastic! He is getting so much abuse and criticism from so called fans that he is considering stepping down, we will really be up s@*t creek if that happens!!!!
He may have done plenty for the club off the field (???) but I look at what happens on the field as a measure of progress and we've hit one new low after another under his leadership. He's a fish out of water. If he can get us back to where we were before he came, then I'm happy to see someone else have a go. I'm sure he's a top top bloke but he's not the best man for this job. Stepping down is the logical thing to do if things don't improve. Nothing new, happens in major corporations all the time.
The only thing that TF has got wrong in my opinion is a degree of naivety, which can be forgiven, and perhaps left himself to be shot at with all this tweeting nonsense. It's all great when it's rosy, but leaves you wide open to be shot at when not.
Well I never, what have I been telling you all for months, like I said tony out amit in this summer Always spirit up. If can't fix it I will be first to go. RT @RupertStiglitz: @tonyfernandes Keep up the good spirits Tony. Not the end of the world that result. We move on, and get behind the team on Tuesday night.
Who in their right mind would take over if we go down? Massive wage bill etc, what ever happens we need TF long term to build a future, he's made mistakes but has to give it more time.
I will play Devils Advocate for a moment: TF is a business man and put his money where is mouth is and built an airline - not over night, but over time. Dare I say he made a mistake or two along the way but in the long term he proved a success. TF invested money in QPR and gave managers money to spend on players, that, have represented their individual countries - so they must have some pedigree. Players like Ali have been injured and been out for a long period of time - so whether they are 100% fit in body and mind is debateable. There re others players at the club that have been happy to take TF's cash without proving that there are wirth their salary. Players such as Hill, Derry and Mackie wear the shirt with pride appreciating the opportunity to play at the top. We just have too many that aren't showing TF or us fans any respect and are doing that in their performances and letting their heads drop. TF will get it right - we have the right manager and he will wheel and deal and get the rubbish out of the team. Changing managers are quickly as we have done hasn't helped - 3 in two years, Warnock, Hughes and Redkanpp - each gaffer having their own preferred way of playing and each with their own fav players. Have some faith the R's will stay up
I feel the balance of power may have changed at board level, not just with involving the Mittals but also TF's own syndicate members. TF placed his faith in Hughes, it was personal, the two of them inextricably linked. TF's reputation within the club may not survive the fall of Hughes and the trail of destruction that Hughes left behind and which we are still witnessing on the field...
I think whatever happens, TF will be gone at the end of the season. If we stay up there is a chance the Mittals may buy him out, if not I dread to think of the consequences...
The club will eat itself if this continues There are a lot of shameful fans out there and posters on here ... How long have I been saying that? Not as a wind up because I passionately care like the old generation of QPR fans You only have to compare other fan bases to where we are at? Who would spend money on people like this? I continue to fight on here for exactly that and just because we have a terrible result we either spout bile it's the same each week ... Sometimes I leave it but sometimes it needs to fought for . What fans will be left I know not
First time I have fully agreed with you for ages DT. It's truly unbelievable that people should aim their bile at TF. What has he done other than to spend a **** load of money on our football club? I defy anyone to have predicted the problems with MH and the legacy of players that he has left us.
There is some truth in this Dave. I actually believe that the economic climate is playing a part too. Anyone who earns a lot of money and then is perceived to get things wrong comes in for almighty stick from ordinary joe public at the moment. TF does seem to be a rather delicate flower and has been very naive at times, but abusing him is just pathetic and could prove incredibly counter productive. (There again, I've always been against twitter. Anyone who uses it leaves themselves open to abuse from the mindless hordes imo)
Tony has said that stuff before. I wouldn't worry until he walks. I bet now we get 1000 posts of people 'talking crap'. cannot be bothered with 'attention seeking tweets' and what people don't know.
Anyone who slags off TF or any of the board is a complete tool and has no right to call themselves a fan or a supporter, the only thing TF has done wrong is stay faithful to MH for about 8-10 games too long.
