My thanks to Tony Benn who died last night. He fought throughout his life for social improvement and as an MP for East Bristol tirelessly represented all of his constituents.

The world is a little bit better for his existence.

Whether you loved him or loathed him he was political giant and a character - something you see little of these days in this time of Mr/Mrs/Ms Blandness from whatever party! I'm not a political person, but I could listen to Tony Benn and Norman Tebbit all day!!

First Bob Crow dies, then Tony Benn. Typical socialists- one out, all out....... Only joking,

Anthony Wedgwood "Tony" Benn, the longest serving Labour MP in history, a great man. RIP

I never, ever got board listening to Tony Benn, wonderful orator, he believed in what he said and said what he believed, I never voted for him but was tempted to do so, many times.

He was a giant compared with the midgets we have to endure today, thoughts are with his family and friends, RIP Tony Benn.

A great man. Not afraid to speak out on all topics. Very well thought of by all his constituents, no matter
    what their political persuasion.

Just the Beast of Bolsover left now!

    Wedgie Benn

    Absolutely honest and straight.
Is there another politician you can say that about.

Loved the man for his honest conviction.

somebody ought to tell Shiny who he was? He probably thinks he was the chap who used to go into the changing room of a shop and come out a chef or an astronaut
