Pat Rice is rumoured to be retiring at the end of this season. Not that he is to blame for our capitulation this season, but it might present an opportunity to bring in someone who can act as a defensive coach - an area which we plainly seem to be struggling with. I'd love to see Tony Adams come back to the club in this role, maybe as Pat Rice's replacement as Wenger's no2 or as a defensive coach alongside Steve Bould who is already at the club.
Isn't he in Uzbekistan? I agree with the sentiment but I would prefer a top quality defensive coach and it may be a bit too early in his career.
Ginge I suppose you'd have us buy Giant Haystacks to play in goal too..... please log in to view this image
Whoever you replace him with is never gonna tinkle the ivories like him. Tiny Dancer is one my favourites.
