Agreed!! The longer it goes on the more speculation arises over little things like missing with sickness. I for one hope he just has a bug and will be back in the team for next game after signing his new contract.

That's not good, but we have McShane, Bradley, Bruce, Cooper, Townsend, Dawson, Dudgeon, Evans (can play across the back 4) and East so I think we are well covered in defense. On the trialist front, it'd be nice to see somebody given a contract, Nabil Baha (20 caps for Morocco) would have been decent. Obviously we don't want to sign people for the sake of it, but with Chester out and Hobbs out, it leaves a pretty big hole (despite the cover I mentioned, they're big boots to fill). My gripe is that if Bruce Jnr can get a deal, why couldn't the Greek lads or Baha and the Congolese chap? I remember thinking the same about Zlatko Hebib a few seasons back, he looked handy but Pearson opted not to offer him a deal. He is now playing in the German Third Division (a bit like our league one) so I suppose it worked out ok, but he was only 19 at the time and was a better prospect than East.
Other than Dawson, Cooper, possibly Bruce and Dudgeon... we have a case of quantity not quality. For this division you need both.
No surprise that Chester is missing or Korens sickness. Alot of it about. Glad that others get a chance. Both Chester and Bruce jnr were replaced @ half-time @ Rochdale by Bradley and Cooper. (BruceTrainingMethoditis kicking in now ) Tiger Leisure stores closed today. Could there be a link with Chester/Korens absence ? No Hobbs, No Rosie, No Chester, No Faye, But we can still put a back 4 together of Dawson Cooper Bruce and McShane. I dont expect that Dudgeon will get much OF - if any game time tonight. Let the focus be on Proschwitz - Aluko tonight. Ive heard that Tom Cairney is also out injured ? Not sure how bad though. With Oli and Evans still missing the medics look to be on overtime. How many out with inury - niggles and sickness ?
You had better tweet Joe Dudgeon. He is the City players Twitter Policeman. I dont think Chester ever has had an account. But i dont read anything into either absence. Chester took a knock @ Rochdale.
