Palace have beaten Everton at goodison park and Manchester city score a last minute equaliser against Sunderland at the Ethiad tonight. Things hotting up in relegation battle.

Pulis has f**king done it again <yikes>

Must be a contender for manager of the year alongside Brendan and Roberto.

Looks like the wheels have fallen off Man City too.

Crystal Palace were virtually nailed on for relegation before Tony Pulis was appointed manager. Can't believe he has never been relegated as a manager.

    Some record !

Looking at Sunderland, their games in hand have pretty much all but disappeared, and they still prop up the Premier League? Now this weekend will be the litmus test, after which there will be just three games left. We now need to focus on playing to a certain level and not on results, points or survival. Monk needs to manage the pressure the threat of relegation can bring, he needs to instill a calmness into the squad, and the players by embracing such a settling approach will play to their full potential, all the infighting has to be eliminated, we need cool calm players on the pitch this Saturday playing to their highest level, if Monk can do this, and instill this calmness then we will stay up!.......................<ok>

Our draw at home to Palace is looking more like a point gained than two points lost :emoticon-0112-wonde

Monk must be a tactical genius to take a point off Palace, a team that even Martinez can't beat at home. Well done Garry.

This is just all bad news for us. Nothing positive here, just more pressure. Every game is now a must win as every club around or below us are finding ways to scavenge points.

Seems you have a valid point here aswan. We need to get behind Garry and give him our full support.

Fail to get at least a point at Newcastle and we could be gone - confidence will have disappeared - we can't buy a win and ALL the teams around us are picking up form and points.
Let's hope others' results go our way again on the weekend as I have lost all confidence in Monk and the players loyal to him.

From being convinced we'd stay up two weeks ago I'm getting really concerned (not to mention increasingly angry with events since February.

    "Pressure"

The great Australian Test cricketer,Keith Miller, was once asked by a journalist how he coped with the pressure of playing cricket at the highest level.

Miller, who had flown Mosquito's in the Second World War responded,"Mate, pressure is having a Messershmitt up your arse at over 300 mph".

I worked with families who had become homeless, and literally had nowhere to sleep that night. Now they would know all about "pressure".

Any "pressure" our overpaid, under achieving and over-exalted primadonna's experience, is merely a figment of one's imagination.

I suspect that the only "pressure" these professional footballers ever really experience comes from car salesmen at the local Ferrari Agency. <laugh>

Not having a go at you Yankee, but I do have to chuckle when I remember Millers' response to the use of the word "pressure".

Just caught the results and I'm amazed. Palace will be title contenders next season at this rate <laugh> Never understood the Pulis bashers myself and he's proven why again.

So close for Sunderland but even a good away point can't save them now. I still think we'll be ok though.
