Man City and Sunderland has been called off due to high winds. I wonder if any other games will suffer because of the weather.
I'm not surprised, it like there's a bloody typhoon here in Kirklees, and it's much worse to the west apparently.
I had reason to park in a cliff-top car park on the Northumbrian coast today. (Don't do it Ernie!) The car was been buffeted by the wind to such an extent that I thought it possible that I might get blown into the sea. It was like the time my car got surrounded by 4 Burnley skins who started testing my shocks for me. Keep safe folks.
I'm watching the massive tree in the garden opposite getting absolutely battered. Daren't take the dog out for fear of flying wheely-bins.
The warning in Preston has warned us to bring 'All animals, furniture, binsand ladders' inside incase they get blown into the road or through a window. HAHAHAHA
Which is absolutely shocking timing. They'd got as far as naming the teams so the turnstiles must have been open for a good half hour or so by then. Would be interesting to hear from somebody who was in the ground what damage suddenly occurred to the ground that made them declare the building unsafe for the next 2 hours.
There's Italian football on later- Napoli v Roma. Don't usually watch foreign club football unless it's champions league/ Europa league. At least corrie's on.
