    Birmingham v Burnley
    Coventry v Cardiff

Birmingham are playing one of their games-in-hand. If they win they'll be 2 points behind us.

Cov are way adrift, but Cardiff could go 6 points ahead of us.

Why are Cov & Cardiff playing tonight? Neither have games in hand?

I think its because Cardiff are still in the league cup which the next round is played during the next set of championship midweek matches

Birmingham haven't won in 3, hopefully that'll continue tonight.

Probably not though, apparently they should have stuffed Peterborough but couldn't stick it in the net (sound familiar?). King's always capable of getting a couple though as we well know!

Draw in both wouldn't be a bad result, but that could also give Burnley a bit of confidence which they seem to be lacking these days.

Better if Coventry beat Cardiff and Burnley beat Birmingham but get their 3 best players sent off with automatic suspensions. Is that being greedy?

I can't help but feel we would be better off playing Burnley tonight, I can see them either getting a result tonight and gaining confidence or getting stuffed and needing a reaction at the weekend. Either way it's no good for us. Here's to them getting a few minor knocks to key players.

He's been on the bench for the last four games and managed a grand total of six minutes playing time.

Ah bollocks, oh well. Just realised Marney scored the whopping great number of all 3 of his premier league goals in his 55 top flight appearences against Everton, and that he only ever scored in 2 games in the top flight. Such a danger man, maybe it's a good thing he's probably not going to be playing <whistle>

In fact, this is the moment that led to Dean Marney even having a career, if it wasn't for this he'd probably be washing windows.

As for tonight's games, Birmingham to sneak it against Burnleh 2-1 and Cardiff to beat Coventry 2-0

Are you saying you expect Cardiff to beat Coventry or prefer them to?

I'd expect them to beat Coventry, not that I want them to! They may also be then 6 points ahead but we would of course have games in hand on them, swings and roundabouts. Mind you given this league anything could happen, Coventry were unlucky against West Ham at the weekend.

See I predicted the Brum V Burnleh result right! Good result for Coventry against Cardiff.

Even though 2 draws last night would have been better for us, Burnley must me worried as they are in free fall at the moment, hoping we can stuff them Saturday.

This ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ agree - would have been my choice.

Let's hope the ("New") Tigers can lay the ghost on Saturday!
