Once and for all I would just like to say that I have NEVER doubted the ability of our fantastic manager and that obviously includes his tactics, team selection AND his choice of head wear.

I resent the fact that some on here have doubted my loyalty and 100% backing to our Welsh Wunderkind, the Senor of sensational results, the terror of Tel Aviv, the Killer of Kiev and NOT forgetting the new hero of THUNderball. He certainly did make those Swiss Roll.

Did Huth play at RB with Upson and Higgy in the centre and Wilko at LB? I was listening on the radio and I'm pretty sure thats the way they said Stoke had set up?

Deano sounded like he had a good game. Good result, just wish the point counted towards the prem!

It was more a 5-3-2 with Shotton and Wilkinson at the respective full back positions.

Oh OK - fair play, the radio just made out that wilko was at left back and reffered to Upson and Higgy in the centre of defense. Good result either way.

I have just got home, watched it live on ESPN at my mates house..
    We set up as follows..

    Sorro
Three at the back Huth Higgy Upson <ok>
    Diao just in front
Shotton on the right with Deano and Palacios and Wilko wide LEFT <yikes>

Walters and KJ up front.. worked pretty well IMHO

We started really well and Deano was absolutly brilliant. Shotton had a mare first half at least Six TIMES he had good chances to cross the ball and he messed up.

A solid performance and I honestly think that, IF T.P. played three at the back as we BOTH suggested it may suit us better away from home at least.

Sounds good - you never get a true reflection via radio!

I have said all along that with our squad and the way we play, 3 X CB's and 2 x WB's would be the way I would set up the team, so cant complain! Shame we couldn't have kept a clean sheet, we needed it really and I desperatly needed it for my Dream Team!
