Jol's decided to rest key players for the game tonight, including Zamora, Dempsey and Murphy. Davies, Briggs, Senderos and (I presume) Dembele are also out with injuries. Ruiz is cup tied. Krakow are bottom of our group with no points after two games, so it appears Jol is looking passed the Polish team with an eye on having fresh, hungry players for Everton Sunday. I think it's a good idea; there are no "must win" games at this point in the season, but with us sitting so low in the table, getting three points seems rather important.

I'm guessing the starting 11 will look something like this:

    Schwartzer

    Baird Hughes Hangeland Riise

    Kasami Sidwell Etuhu Duff

    Sa Johnson

I think Jol is doing the right thing and all the players he left back home need rest. Also lets face it Premier League is the priority, until UEFA comes out with the rule that we need to feature our strongest 11. (The last bit was an irony!!!)

Really excited by the game tonight. Love the line up, although Etuhu is a worry. Lots of pace and as MJ has stated they have a sluggish back 4. Here's hoping for a great performance.

Going to hard now. Shambolic decision, pushed in the shoulder and goes down like a sack of spuds clutching his face. Nunez you are a marked man, f***ing disgrace.

Dembele reacted and shoved the opposing player. Stupid ... Cheap foul, but a dumb thing for Dembele to do. Fulham might be better off without him. He was doing his usual trick, dribbling around in circles while everyone watched. I've lost all patience in his playing.

Briggs and Johnson are out best players out there by a mile. Duff has hardly touched the ball. Dickson has given the ball away about 8 times already. This was not the display I was hoping for.

Agree DR. What is good to see though is Schwarzer is playing very well, Sa has to come off, he has done very little, AJ up top and Kasami in at right wing.. Still very winnable if we can keep Iliev quiet.

Froggie ... yes, getting rid of Sa and bringing on Kasami or Sidwell, then moving Johnson up front seems a logical choice at this point.

But even with 11, I thought we were poor. Having Etuhu and Gecov as the central midfielders is ... well, what can one say. Neither of them can to pass or hold the ball. This on the heels of the Stoke debacle is all pretty dreary.

This would be a good game for Duff to show his quality. Haven't seem much from him yet.
