    Don't think there's much doubt about who'll win tonights game between Germany and Greece and to make it worth having a bet I was looking for something with better odds than just the win. It seems that no matter what the result is Paddy Power will refund all losing bets if Gomez scores the first goal.

    A correct score/first goalscorer bet, with your money back if Gomez scores first do you think?

    Draw 4/1

    Greece are a good bet at 10/1. I have bet on Germany for the whole thing. Their press and fans seemed to have ramped up the pressure, they expect to win it. I might put a daft little one on Greece. they're a handful and very strong defensively. I expect ze Germans will have too much but you never can say in football!

    Two horse race, anything could happen. At least you'd be covering your bet on Germany for a small stake.

    Think this one could be a case of how many, though having said that I remember thinking that when France played Greece at this stage in 2004 and Greece won 1 - 0. Same again would be nice. 3 - 0 Germany with Gomez scoring first.

    I'd prefer Greece but does anyone else kinda feel it would nice to beat the Germans in a semi final? Maybe even on pens <laugh>.

    I reckon if the Germans score first then Greece are knackered. I think a good old fashioned smash and grab is their only hope! Did you succumb to buying any extortionate Ashes tickets?

    Got two for £50 ages ago, not paying any more. Price is meant to go up again on 1st October. Also no disrespect to Greece they only got through because Russia bottled it and only France didn't get more points in the groups stage than them, where as Germany were the only to get maximum points, big ask.

    Oh aye I just think they revel in the challenge. Saying that someone said they have Karagounis out for his ridiculous caution for diving. I can't believe there is not some recourse to overturn those kind of things. If he is out then I can't see them having any hope. As you say it was slim anyway.

    Two for £50!!! Wish I hadn't asked you now. Paid £80 for the first day on Tuesday or whenever it was. My thinking being that with it being our ground, there will probably be a fair bit of action first day!! If it's muggy Jimmy will have it hooping all over the shop.
