Hopefully we will witness the first home win of the season tonight.

However at no point will I be shouting, "come on you blues" at Ashton Gate.

Was actually a good game worth the money. Some good football. Its rare to see a team at Ashton gate who can pass the ball through midfield and don't need to punt it 60 yards.
Bristol would have won if not for the eastern European ref giving the eastern European team a late penalty.

And yes shiny there were some not bad looking players on the pitch including the girl from Holland. And yes shiny two of the girls did take their tops off.

They can't kick it far enough for long ball![/QUOTE]

That might be our strategy to climb from the bottom of the table. End 40 years of long ball hoofing by bringing in the ladies!!!! we have nothing to lose at the moment!

They played well, kept the ball on the ground and passed well. I did think some of their players could fit in to our team and actually improve our team.

The keeper made some good saves when called in to action and was unlucky not to have a clean sheet.

They played a formation similar to Brazil's 4-2-2-2.

I just hope some of the players were there to watch a team play with passion who went out and attacked a team who was tipped to thrash Bristol girls as they are rated as one of the best teams in the world apparently yet Bristol put them under pressure and chased everything and were by far the better team.

Bristols no. 10 played very well playing off the main striker and took her goal very well. Type of player we could do with. no 7 reminded me of Tinman as her crossing last night was better than anyone we have and she could cross with both feat.

I still believe the men's game is better and will always be better but the women did well last night and must be feeling proud of the way they played.
