    Where in Sunderland is he from as that will determine his speciality subject? i.e. Fire Engines of the 1980s means he could be from Pennywell.

    ow whats the matter with pennywell like. Admittedly I have moved to the leafy suburbs of Grindon now but had some good times in Pennywell.

    When I was at uni (Southampton), we nearly got onto the televised shows for University Challenge. Sadly, we lost to Imperial College in the preliminary just before the live shows.

    I applied to go on the KCL team back in the early 80s with Bamber Gascoigne. Sadly the Uni rep said I was too thick and would I kindly **** off :(

    Might be. I UOA means university of Aberdeen. And Uni Mackem eans from a guy from Sunderland at Uni. then yeah it might be me
