True, but the half-time subs at Leicester were a notable exception. As has been said before he doesn’t seem to make many obvious tactical tweaks in game and his subs generally feel pre planned rather than what’s happening in the game.

Not missing Armstrong but used to like his honest approach to having to play in a system which didn't play to his strengths.......always thought it may have been a language difficulty with him....Those stats are obviously excellent, but one thing I did agree with Hendrie on tonight is that there is still more to come from this squad. Now the likes of Matsuki and Edozie are contributing, our depth is even greater than it was a couple of months ago. Also, is anyone missing Armstrong because I'm not?
Geordie is quite hard to understand at times. Not missing Armstrong but used to like his honest approach to having to play in a system which didn't play to his strengths.......always thought it may have been a language difficulty with him....

What he has done has been superb, given the state we were in under Still. I liked him early days and wanted him to get the job after Leicester (at home). By the Hull loss I was as pissed off as everyone else. Really glad he's turned it round and I really hope he is the real deal. But...So WDWWWWDWW
He has taken us from 20th to 7th
Likely to get manager of the month for February.
Mods, can you change the Tonda out title of this thread as quite frankly it's embarrassing.

While everyone who was calling for him to be sacked at any point now has a bit of egg on their face, the real moral of the story is to not jump the gun. And that applies both ways. I'm a big fan of Tonda these days, but I'm not gonna praise him too much, because I know it can all go tits up at any moment. Think the sensible thing for all of us to do, is to just ignore the manager question for the remainder of the season.
I also have to say, while results have been excellent, I won't be fully convinced until Tonda proves himself against some of the top 6 teams. So far we've failed to beat Millwall (twice), Hull, and Coventry. That has to change. The upcoming Coventry and Norwich games will tell us a lot about whether Tonda is the right man for next season imo.

I agree, I would like him to be here a while. seems a very calm personable guy. He is doing things well..................mind you the comparison bar for us is pretty direI think if he gets us promoted from the state we were in some clubs in the UK will be looking at him too. Despite his "inexperience" there must be something about him so I'm kind of hoping he stays put for a while as we seem to be moving the right way with him in charge and if Spors can continue to fix the squad in the summer I think we'd be confident next season whichever league we are in.
Feels like, but let's wait to May and so how the season has finished. If we have continued a spirited cup run and put a worthy play offs performance in, then i agree. If the season Peters out then stay with current dealNeed to tie him down to a longer deal.
