Reference was made recently in a thread to a previous Campbell on our books...one Andy Campbell....rather derogatory it was though. However had he gon on to score a hundred goals for us, he would have become a legend, and would surely have been honoured!

That was my comment. I was comparing the Campbell from 1993 to our new one and hoped the new one would provide a better long term solution after a great start last Saturday.

While Andy didn't really shine for us (6 goals in 68 games?), he will always be a hero for his goal v. QPR in 2003. It was just that he didn't cut the mustard after that. Sorry if I appeared a bit tough on him.

I always liked his nickname "Butch" after his lookalike Dingle character from Emmerdale. Could have been worse, might have been the really ugly and stupid one Sam.

Surprised we haven't had any of the Hull lads over here, they're jumping on anything Campbell atm, seems the name's not popular with them lol
