any of the "insiders" know it yet? i would hazard a guess that mclean will come in for stewart for his extra workrate away from home, and oli for cairney on the bench, otherwise be as it was.
thats a fair call and a few of us in the sports bar after the game saturday said the same. we need energy and experience @ birmingham. i am with you on this one.
I'd go for Mannone, Rosenior, Chester, Hobbs, Dawson, Mclean, Mckenna, Evans, Brady, Koren, Fryatt Carson, Dudgeon, Stewart, Oli, King.
NB can only name 5 subs. Oli the victim of the silly subs rule but i was surprised that TC was on the bench.
Could well happen. We took Evans off pretty early the other day, so I guess they might still have concerns over his fatigue. Stewart played 90 minutes though and they could have taken him off if they wanted to rest him but didn't. Just pointing that out.
I would personally pick the same team as there was lots of energy in the team on saturday. I also thought Stewart did fairly well - don't know why people would want to drop him, if anyone drop Brady or Evans for Mc Lean or Olofinjana.
i dont necessarily want him to drop stewart for mclean, just think he will drop one of the wide men for him away from home, and personally think brady is plying better then stewart at the moment...i have a real bee in my bonnet about my his need to always be within touching distance of dawson instead of running into space and until that stops ill keep preferring brady
I really dont understand this reference to 'insiders' when it comes to the team line-up. Anyone can go and watch training and if they have 2 hours spare to watch they are told what the line-up will be. It really isnt inside knowledge.
Surely they don't make it that clear to everyone. Otherwise why do managers like Warnock moan when it becomes public?
Most teams vet who goes to training before issuing a pass, hence an opposition manager cant just wander up. But they tend to allow your average fan to watch and trust them not to hinder their own team by spilling the beans on messageboards. If you do get to watch training 1 or 2 days before a match, trust me - it's blatantly obvious who the manager is intending to pick.
i know what your saying, but horses for courses...same team that beats a fairly poor bristol city side at home might not be the best solution to win away from home at one of the form teams in the league, dont think there will be major changes, just a bit of tinkering...
I can ensure you I don't ever go and watch training. Anyinfo I post comes from a very reliable source, as those who know me will be able to vouch. I think you will find also that the team hasn't been decided fully yet so watching training wouldn't have given it away anyways.
