Houston, we have a problem! One of the members was kind enough to lend me his Season Tickets for tomorrow's game, and as he is away he left them for me to collect at his office. I've just picked them up, and one is a junior ticket. Now, I'm 6'4, and far too grey to pass for under 16, and as fantastic as my wife looks, it's doubtful she'll pass either. Will one of us not be able to get in, or will we have to pay an up charge? I don't want to get the S/T holder in trouble if we do use them. Advice please! Also, where will the majority be drinking before the game? It'd be good to say hello to some of you guys!
Pay the difference at the box office between the U16 and the adults price. They have security at the turnstiles who could stop you if you don't upgrade. I am also borrowing season tickets for tomorrow's game from a ST holder who is on holidays. Sitting in the Lower Loft. I will be in the Crown & Sceptre from about 12.30 till about 1.45.
'pay an up charge'? How long have you been in the States mate! I think you might have to nip into the box office to get it upgraded, or take a risk that they don't look as they swipe it at the turnstile...but you can't pay anything at the turnstile. I and I think a few others including Roller and probably Nines will be at the Crown and Sceptre, I'll be there by 1.45 latest. Nines and Roller are both about your height and Ninesy will probably have his 2 daughters with him. I'm only 6ft, a dwarf in their company. It gets incredibly hot and crowded in there, so unless its pouring with rain I'm likely to be drinking outside somewhere.
Sounds like I'll be at the Crown and Sceptre too then! I'll be easy to spot - a lanky steak of piss in blue and white stripes (not hoops) and a grey/brown mushroom cloud of a hair-do.
