I would go 4-5-1 against Boro, and play like an away side. O'Donnell Ayling,Flint,Baker,Williams. Burns,Pack,Korey,Freeman,Bryan. Wilbraham. Should we get in their half Burns and Bryan could make a 3 with Wilbraham. Yeh, no Kodija or Agard, nothing sticks with them and both need 10 chances to score 1. We need a clean sheet tomorrow, we have to start somewhere.
Agree with almost all of this RP - Like the formation, although I would probably start with Kodjia and sub him for Wilbs at about 60 minutes (depending on how the game is going of course) - I can't see Wilbs running around on his own up front for more than 30 minutes to be honest - he can't do that even when paired.
Have heard Freeman isn't playing tomorrow. Could be rubbish as this is from someone who hasn't given me info before but will be intrigued to see if it's true...
Freeman was unlikely to feature b4 the sacking.. dead leg? RP .. its not hard to pick a team at the moment leave out the goalies, leave out the injured, put names in hat, draw them out then decide on the formation. 3 - 5 -2 oh sorry he's gone now pretty much the same though, but play 4 - 4 - 2 with Kodija and Agard, Wilbs on for last 20 mins!
Which makes me wonder why he was sacked and who else could do much different with the inherited squad- Freeman was doubtful, so use Reid and go 4-4-2 would seem the most likely
Aren't we lucky that you will not be the next City manager! Leave out your leading scorer and Bobbie Reid? Stick to the day job.
Pembo has rung me to say thanks. 4-5-1 and play/frustrate like an away side worked a dream. He apologised about Bobby Reid, he was going to pick Freeman but injury forced the change to my plan. Also thought Wilbraham made the difference in the last 15 minutes, the ball stuck and Boro could get out of their half. Which of course led to a succession of corners leading to the inevitable winner. He reckons Cidered doesn't know sh*t from pudding
