Just two days after an epic FA Cup Merseyside derby at Goodison that ended 4-4 after extra time, Reds boss Kenny Dalglish stunned the football world by announcing his resignation as team manager with immediate effect. Kenny was under immense stress 21 years ago. With results not being what they ''should be'' and Liverpool facing their worst run of defeats since 1953/54 should they lose to the blueshite

29/08/1953 Bolton Wanderers Away L 0-2 28277

02/09/1953 Newcastle United Away L 0-4 47000

05/09/1953 Preston North End Home L 1-5 B.Jones (55) 46928

07/09/1953 Wolverhampton Wanderers Away L 1-2 Jackson (87) 35701

12/09/1953 Tottenham Hotspur Away L 1-2 Jones.W (58) 45000

Could Everton see King Kenny depart a second time OR should defeat and that run see him shoved ? *I have my views on this but I'm curious to know other fans views. ** Luv if this gets messy with spas close it
Kenny left before because of the stress of hillsborough. We were actually top of the league last time he left. we could be bottom of the table with 0 points and he still wouldnt have the same kind of inner turmoil he had back in 91. we are not chelsea, a decision should be made in may and no sooner
I know that but he is now in his 60s and may not feel like battling on anyway, as I said I have my views which are basically no and the question is hypothetical. But I'm interested in the other opinions. Are we all singing off the same hymn sheet ?
He'll see out the full 2 years of his contract and hope to add to the cup already won and to vastly improve our inconsistant form and our league placing in that time.
Results are obviously the be all and end all but IMO the performances can be just as important. If we was playing poor and not looking like doing anything whilst losing then there would be cause for concern. However, we have been playing good passing and creative football all season and we more or less unanimously agree that we need a poacher. Whatever happens, we should wait until the summer.
Thing is hash they gave him a two year contract,i cant remember seeing anything about a clause saying he had to get CL football in the first year.
He'll stay as long as he feels he's doing a good enough job, getting that 2nd cup would make this a very good season.
