Starting tomorrow night we all know we have 3 vital home games on the trot, also during the same period Leicester only have one next Tuesday and we have an extra game on Watford and Palace. Has we all know our home form isn't the best but we can really turn the screw on the others if we can get it right. I am hoping we will get a few extra fans in with the offer for pass holders to take a friend for £5. (does everyone know you can just order the extra ticket on the phone and if you want to stay in your own seat then you can and get the ticket for someone you know somewhere in the same stand. We need the extra support so try your best and lets hope the team does the business on the pitch
Yes, I ordered two extra tickets with my pass and my old mans, the ticket office didn't ask any questions about whether we would be sat with them. Hope the tickets get delivered today as they are leaving it a bit fine for the tickets to get delivered in time!
Time to put pressure on the happiest man in the world. Leicester v Huddersfield, The FA Cup, Tuesday 12th Feb 2013 Huddersfield / Leicester v Wigan Athletic, The FA Cup, Sunday 17th Feb 2013 Yes, it would be nice to be six points clear of Leicester this time next week.
Well its good to see you have got a couple of extra tickets West tiger because i don't think the offer as gone that well which surprises me, I got an extra ticket this morning and there was a few in the queue but the ticket office worker said not that many had taken up the offer. I thought most pass holders would have known someone who wanted a ticket but unless there is a big rush in the next couple of days then it doesn't seem to be the case which is disappointing because we need all the support we can get at this moment in time
I tried to get one for a relative but he wanted to sit near us and there were no seats together except for the 2 corners, it would have meant him sat on his own somewhere. Not a problem to some people I know but this might be putting a few off.
For those who were not aware, these three home games also make up pie week in the members bar... Derby County – Tuesday 12th February Homemade Pork, Apple & Cider Pie with Creamy Mashed Potato and Seasonal Vegetables followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding with Hot Toffee Sauce Charlton – Saturday 16th February Homemade Lamb, Mint & Rosemary Pie with Roast Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables followed by Tangy Lemon Sponge with Vanilla Custard Blackburn Rovers – Tuesday 19th February Homemade Fish Pie topped with Cheddar & Chive Mash with Buttery New Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetables followed by Apple Pie & Ice Cream I'm not sure about the Blackburn one, other than Tickler, I'm not sure anyone wants pie, followed by pie.
We have suffered from consistency recently, although i think the performance at Brighton wasn't to bad at all we just can't score at the moment. What we need to do is go for it early on if we get one early on it will settle us fans and the players and i think it will set us up well. If we win tomorrow i think we could be looking at 9 points.
OLM has pies on the brain. Other than Couplands pies, I only eat North Ferriby pies in the main. They put the KC ones to shame. As for the games. We need a minimum of 7 pts from the next 9 and our game in hand is tonight with Derby. That leaves just Cardiff and Lesta with a game in hand and they play each other in late March i think in Wales. By the time Lesta play Charlton @ home next tuesday Hull City will hopefully be 6 points clear.
This week will defind our season. We'll know if its play off's or automatic promotion. A Leicester win tonight would be nice, it'd help cluttere there fixture list up and put pressure on with having to play catch up.
There is pressure on us to win those 3 games but then if we do get 9 points (and they are not the hardest) then that leaves other teams playing catch-up and the pressure shifts to them to have to win those games in hand. At some point another team will break away from the chasing pack in my opinion over the next 4 or 5 games so we have to ensure our key players stay fit to be able to perform well for the next 15 points
Apart from Blackburn next tuesday and Crystal Palace away on march 5th, City dont have to play anyone of note until April 1st. I would suggest that february and march will define our season now. Plus in this time frame all our rivals have to play each other so points will be dropped.
