If we win at preston then the championship will be ours,in my 51 years i have never seen that. bcfc winning a league. Every city supporter that wants to see this happen, needs to be at Preston for tomorrows game. I would not miss it for the world, could be a special special day.
I will be in France, hangin' on the end of the commentary on my laptop and kicking every ball. If it happens today it will mark the best season for me since those heady days of '76 and '77 COYR
Didn't quite get it done today but nonetheless a reasonable result against our biggest opposition. The reality of promotion is only 3 points away but the big prize of the title is a little further but I can see it clearly from here - how about you?
Win Tuesday, regardless of what Swindle or MKD do we're promoted. Seven more points and the title is ours, and that's if PNE win every game. Can't believe I want, Swindle to go on a little bit of a run and cause panick in PNE minds to lose at least two more games.
A good performance today - I know stats don't tell the true story but: City had 52% possession Both sides had 10 shots - but City had 5 on target to Preston's 3 ......... so sounds like we deserved our point City now unbeaten in 12 league games (13 if you count the JPT final) - Preston are unbeaten in 15 league games
Yo'll have to celebrate in Yorkshire instead, we don't do other teams celebrating in the county of the red rose. Decent game, a bit tactical but a result which will keep both sets of supporters happy
Back at 7:45 great game for league 1,city were more compossed, look the better team, really should have brought the three points home. However both clubs will be very happy with a point each. Especially with the dons only drawing. Three points Tuesday were up,we need seven points to guarantee top spot, however that is with preston winning every game left,we are champions in waiting. There was 3800 to 4000 city there today, fantastic noise and support.
I was there, City the better team & deserved to win, great point though...the title almost there now, just a matter of when!
would have happily taken a point before kick off and now a win on Tuesday will take us up- It would have been a big ask to expect all results to go our way, but having it in our own hands Tuesday will be a cracking incentive
Someones cooking up there the stand holds 6000 there were two block empty lets say 1000 in each section, the rest of the stand was packed. I find that figure strange Prestons average crowd is 12000 there was over 16000 there yesterday. Just checked the official amount sold before potd was 2604,believe me the amount of people queing was massive,we paid on the day.
