    Sad day. One of football’s true and genuine hardmen. Was a real great for Liverpool back in the day when each team had at least one hardman he was one of the stand outs. RIP.

    Remember going to watch Burnley play Liverpool when I was a young lad and he was up against Leighton James. I dont think he actually touched the ball very often but James ended up in the crowd a couple of times.

    You could actually hear the crowd gasp as some of the challenges went in.

    A real character and a great man.
