    Chelsea fan in peace.

When Rosicky arrived in the PL he looked like a world beater. I still believe that midfield of Flamini, Fabregas, Hleb, Rosicky and Eboue (of old) was the best ever not to win the league.

Rosicky has had his injury problems and not been the same player since but I understand he has had a solid pre-season and looks pretty sharp, I think he could have a major role to play at Arsenal if kept, I feel the same way with Arshavin as well.

Form is the key. Ability-wise Diaby and Denilson are every bit as good as say Cleverley and the Da Silva twins for instance but I just feel at times some Arsenal's young players lack the competitive edge that the United players have and more importantly the discipline.

Can Rosicky get fired up enough to warrant a future at Arsenal given your options in that position are stretched?

I think he can. He needs a run of luck scoring some of, what used to be, his trademark goals. He also needs a 4-4-2 which will help him.

I don't think he will ever have a major role at arsenal again, the injuries he had in 2008 have broken him. Seems like he doesn't have it in him to be effective any more.

I think he has done really well to come back from a string of injuries. In pre season he looked like he was back to his old self. Let's hope he can continue it, because we are going to need our players to step up this season.

Our squad is being ripped apart at the moment, so he will get his chances early on. When we first signed him, he was a fantastic dribbler and his intelligence made up for his lack of pace. Now, he doesn't seem to get as far up the pitch as he used to and he has definitely lost his eye for goal. He really needs to pay back the faith that Wenger (and us fans) have shown in him because he really hasn't offered much in the last 2 years.

maybe the tippy-tappy short passing style Wenger wants in all players doesn't suit him.
