Used to love his Wilt novels. Pity Mel Smith & Gryff Rhys Jones made a pig's ear of the movie translation.

Porterhouse Blue was good - both the book and the programme.

    Tom Sharpe was brilliant.

    The Throwback being my favourite.

The Porterhouse Blue series on TV was pretty good, David Janson aka Del Boy played the lead.

The books are brilliant, especially the ones set in South Africa at the time of apartheid and the way he portrayed the police.

Loved his books, the Wilt film was fine as was Blott. Not seen Porterhouse Blue but am downloading it as I type.
