rumour has it on b and a , that bolton want eaves back as cover for injuries. to quote mr kipling, this would leave town exceedingly thin up front. who will play up front if rumour is true

This would be a problem for us because we know Eaves is capable of scoring (though with the service he got yesterday Messi would have struggled to score). Eaves is also very raw with a poor first touch and virtually non-existent heading ability and I cannot see him as a Championship player yet. If he does go back I would suggest we play just one up front and put an extra midfielder in to try and pinch a couple of draws to keep us safe.

Eaves has had some pretty good moments of first touch and he is a lot more capable of chesting a ball to his own feet than quite a few of our own players. Control of the ball either in quick passing or receiving is worrying across a cross section of our team.

Saturday's game saw too many passes going awry often with too much weight suitable for the distance, players need to pass more into space for others to run on to rather than to their feet or just behind them so they have to stop.

Matster, agree. Looks like a v.good Div 1 player and who know what comes after that? If we had lots of good Div 1 players we wouldn't be where we are!

Shall I take the wheels off their bus or close the motorway by driving wrong way?

This just highlights the dangers of relying on the loan system. We need three points from three games to ensure survival in League 1 and have now lost our only striker who looks currently capable of scoring a goal. I have not renewed my season ticket as the club have not shown me that they are serious about establishing themselves as a League 1 club. I will pick and choose the games I go to next season and I know at least two others who have done the same.

i understand roland is sending a van up to bury this afternoon containing 14 cases of lithuanian sparkling port, and 14 cases of iffy prawns. do hope the van driver gets them to the correct dressing rooms.

actually 3 draws tonight may help.
