Sir Tom is for the name change. Got to say I have some sympathy with his reasoning. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...ull-city-he-can-do-what-he-wants-8755064.html Forgive if this has already been posted (loved to troll Humber Bank on the way to Little Switz-Tom was probably scoring while I was not, with the girls that is-but it hard to troll through all the messages on the subject)
I don't. Flawed reasoning- and he a courteous (heh, see what I did there?) chap who is honorary Prez of the OSC. He won't rock the boat.
So if he wants our home games to be played on the Isle of man in a Pink Kit - that's okay with Sir Tom? I'm sorry but no. The Allams saved this club, but without the fans there would have been no club to save. They do not have carte blanche to do as they please. So people are okay with a rebrand - fair enough, you're entitled to your opinion, it'll be a sorry day when there is no debate to be had. However, people who think it's okay for something as major as this to be pushed through with no consultation, that is wrong.
Always good to listen to all opinions and like it or not the rich and famous carry more weight with their opinions than the likes of mere mortals like myself. They get a bigger platform than the rest of us and their voice is heard and listened to more.
spare £60 mill to buy the club ? ... if not the what he says is right .. this is 21st century football .. fans really do not matter .. in the slightest
Hard to take seriously when he says that when he started going after the war we wore black and amber stripes though.
