Hey guys i assume that most of us on here are in agreement that we need a new creative midfielder; personally i dont see nasri as the answer especially not at the current 20 - 25mil price tag thats being suggested. A lot of names are being thrown around but it seems as though clubs are more reluctant than ever to let go of their players. So what im trying to say is, should we give cleverly the chance to prove he has what it takes ?? He played well on loan at wigan last season despite being played often in a wider role whereas for me hes more of a centre mid than a winger. Not saying its definetly what we should do i just wanted to get your guys opinions on it.
Not sure he's quite good enough for Man Utd's first team. I doubt Nasri would cost £20m-£25m as he only has one year of his contract left.
It would depend on our plans for Phil Jones, if SAF sees him as our DM to replace Hargreaves then Cleverly could be Andersons back up(I have high hopes for Ando this year). If Jones is here solely as a CB then we would need to bring in some steel to our CM that would allow Carrick to play either role. With Ando yet to complete a full season injury free and Cleverly lacking experience we definitely need another.
