Tom Carroll....

..... I think he's got ""The Swansea Way"" written all over him. What do you guys think ?.... I can see him playing a big part helping the defense the next 2 tough games

 

I thought he played well when he came on.

 

Not sure roof. His first touch today he passed it stright to a bue shirt. Recovered later though.

A decent player in the mould of Joe Allen, and he even looks like him, but he'll be a 'fill in' when needed and he'll return to his club end of season imo. You're right though he has to step up in Shelvey's absence.

 

With Shelvey out, will Leon be fit to be considered for the Arsenal game?

 

Not sure when Leon is back, Taff. Probably not ready to start just yet imo.

 

The way it's going tits up at Liverpool, we could get the real Joe back cheap in the summer.

 

The obvious move would to push Gylfi deeper alongside Ki and play Emnes in front of them.

 

I like that line up valley.Anyone feel Montero is just a total bundle of energy, got good hydrulics .We need people upfield and running havoc on the outside.Carroll looks like hes committed to helping the defense and thats what it might take to committ some help for Bonyand Siggy.if this team starts gelling watch out , just not quite confident enough .

 

Montero...hmmm. A rough diamond maybe. Got the tricks, got the pace but struggles sometimes with a decent cross. needs some work but definitely an asset to the team.

Monk has put Carroll in the Leon position (Everton cup game) but he looked out of place in a physical game.
I'd be asking Ki to drop back for the one game and play Siggy and Emnes ahead of him.
I just hope Fulton isn't given the responsibility.

Then maybe we can keep a few players forward , we were pretty barren up front at Everton.The Everton game was the least possession we've had in any Premier League game since we've been up ,I think invitations were sent out to theyre players to our end.
