I hope he's not instead of a permanent Midfielder for the season. I think he's included for added depth and experience for Tottenham.
He's 22, so he is going on our 25 man roster. He spent last season on loan at QPR and played in 21 games for them. Actually he has spent the previous three seasons out on season long loans. What does that say.
Watched him last season and rated him, unlike a lot of QPR fans who thought he was too lightweight & ineffectual! I predict he'll do better in the prem than the championship, & you and your passing style of play are probably the perfect team for him.
Looks like we've been given the consolation prize while Spurs have gazzumped for Cork. If I was being mean I could think Levy said, 'Keep out of the way Huw, Cork is ours but you can have this kid instead." But I won't because I'm a reformed character.
This could actually be a great signing, he's just on the verge of breaking through and has put in some good performances for Spurs & QPR last year. This would be his "big" season if he's going to make the big time, so he's going to be hungry and willing to work his nuts off to prove himself, which can only help us. And working alongside Leon, he'll learn a lot about the position and how players with lighter frames can be effective there.
Not sure about this one. We have a big habbit of wasting our loan signings in recent years (Macheran, lamah, Vasquez, Sheckter) I hope this is not another one. I suppose it is time to wait and see if he is up to it. he will have a lot to do to displace what we have in the centre of midfield.
Yankee, Fulton is injured, but from what I saw of him in his 1 and a half games will be a class player and this Carroll will need to be very good to be better than him.
Agree Trunds, Fulton is definitely one for the future, and Carroll at least adds an extra body in midfield.
Happy with this, as has been said previously he will be hungry to show spurs what he can do and take some of the burden off of leon
