MacLean and a few others seem to be on a Judith Chalmers style world tour at the moment so I suspect actually getting them all together would be difficult. The players I follow on twitter really don't seem that concerned by all this, much like most of us would be if our boss got sacked. If he was a mate we'd be sorry/upset but we'd either soon get over it and see who replaces him, or we'd be looking for a new job elsewhere. Just because they live in a different world to the majority of us doesn't mean stuff like this isn't the same for them.
I think the younger lads will be less concerned about what's going on, Dawson will obviously be concerned as he might be unemployed next month and I don't think Koren and Rosenior are overly impressed, but the way things now progress will depend entirely on who Nick's replacement is.
I dont think many if any will be at home to read the said letter anyway. Why would they worry about anything at the moment as the players are on there holidays. I suspect it may become an issue on July 2nd when pre-season starts IF a new manager is not in place though.
It could have been the letter we got with our renewal forms, just with a bit more detail on the first paragraph and the season card ones removed!
Of course Tom's not bothered, he was hardly a regular under Nick and one of his former manager's last actions was to basically call him a prick for saying on Twitter that he was injured when he was in fact dropped. He'll be looking forward to a fresh pair of eyes to flatter to deceive in front of....
Tom did say in a recent interview towards the end of the season that Barmby had been great with him and was on at him every day about how he could improve his game and I think most people would agree that the last few games he played in he had improved.
