Sounds like a more realistic target, and one that might be able to get a few at this level. I reckon we could probably land him for £1.5m.

Apparently they only want 1 million.... So a lot cheaper than Gayle and Gray! Would love to see us get Dack in on Gillingham as well.

You chaps back in jolly old have a much better handle on players and their potential value to Bristol City because your in the midst of it all whereas out here our depth of information is not even on the same scale. That is why I read with interest you talking about us considering bringing in new players that in most cases don't register on my radar.

The Gayle and Gray experiences left me with a sour taste in my mouth because I truly thought we were being made to look mugs by them both, and the comments they were alleged to have made about us, and the city of Bristol in general, were absolutely out of order. Regrettably that's what we can expect from this new breed of players who think they own the world and everyone else should fall at their feet to worship the ground they walk on. We don't need prima donnas, we need footballers whose heads aren't in the clouds or up their own arse.

Interesting to see that the links posted by wizered are all concerning lower league team players which has always seemed to be our most comfortable, and less frustrating, shopping zone. I just hope they have the common sense to follow their own best instincts and not follow the advice of a world class footballing sage called Andre Gray who had the brilliant scheme of rejecting the fair city of Bristol in order to fulfill his lifetime dream of moving to BURNLEY????

Good luck Andre, but you are starting to sound more like a reincarnation of an ex-City player who chose his own path to the scrap heap, so beware of your pompous attitude.

Do we not need at least proven Championship ability to accompany Kojak, Wilbs, Agard and push on ?

Bradshaw is still a L1 player and no one else seems interested in him.

I don't get all this bitterness towards Gray? Just because we put an offer in for him it's not compulsory that he signed for us.
After all what have we done that puts us on the footballing map? Burnley at least have been Prem on 2 times and one of the favourites to go back up. I bet his agent knew Burnley and Hull was monitoring the situation so at least he bothered to come and speak to us.

Yet we assume he's such a bad guy.

I agree with ROD he has done us no harm, he spoke to the gaffer, he didn't like the deal so he's gone elsewhere, his choice and fair play to him.
