Decided to distract myself from all the MM speculation.

We got him from Carlisle last summer, but since then I have only ever seen him play in a pres-season friendly against St.Albans.

Does anyone know what has happened to this poor soul? :emoticon-0112-wonde

His main problem is that when you're playing Martin Taylor and Adrian Mariappa, with John Eustace in front of them, you're hardly ever going to need a centre back on the bench. Dale Bennett is third choice, and Adam Thompson can play there, so he hasn't really had a look in.

I wouldn't count him out just yet. Or Kiernan for that matter. I know that Danny Graham rated him.

MM did say that he was "one for the future", and that we shouldn't expect to see him for a while. Although, it does seem to me as if this is turning into another Jure Travner, making no appearances.

From what I heard about him is we brought in the "wrong player" and it was clear early on Travner wasn't the player Malky expected.

As for Aldred...I'd suggest if he isn't at least on the bench considering there are no Reserves next season there must be doubts over him too.

By most accounts, Don Cowie was class, yet wasn't the best attack-minded midfielder that Inverness Cali Thistle had.

The SPL isn't a particularly high standard, but to be fair Scots do know a decent player when they see one.

Which is why, when the inevitable happens and MM trundles off to Taffyland, we should replace him with another Scot. I think we should try for Walter Smith.
