To be fair the reason he's going to Villa has nothing to do with wages as we were fannying about and wouldn't offer what Fulham wanted. Until a fee has been agreed between two clubs personal terms aren't discussed. Having said that I think that you are right and we've probably dodged a bullet there <ok>

He is going for the 5% of £14 mill they offered instead of the 5% of £12 mill you offered and an extra 6K a week!
He will ask for a contract improvement in a year and if its refused he will have his agent find him another cut of a transfer fee.
