Today's tip of the day

Ok after the success of yesterdays tips with 2 winners out of 2 i have spoke to my old man and there are a couple of slim chances at goodwood this evening these are FLEETING TIGER in the 6.15 and YAIR HILL in the 8.30. Both Dunlop horses again.

Prob only worth an e/w punt, i have done a £5 e/w double which gives odds of 43-1 on sky bet.

Go a bit easier on your stakes with this one as he's not as confident as he was yesterday.

When anyone posts tips the first time I watch them to see how they do.

Maybe we should have a permanent Racing Tips thread.

 

Definitely I some times get tips from Clive Cox stables so tips all round would be good especially if they are good uns like those Dunlop ones yesterday.

 

I occasionally get tips through from Emma Lavelles stable,and i know a few greyhound trainers,one of whom is a Saints fan who i last saw in the Northam end at the Charlton game last season.

 

This sounds good to me

 

Would be class if we had loads of tips coming in.

 

Guys I don't want to spoil anyones fun but just remember this is a Saints football forum not a racing forum. There is a place for racing tips and the like on another page further down the listings.

 

Really? I thought one of the best qualities of this forum was that we didn't need to stick rigidly to the BBC's idea of what was on topic, seeing as one thread of racing tips isn't exactly going to do anybody any harm. Hardly like it's the only off-topic thread as well, your fellow mod did one about Wimbledon even though there's another place for tennis talk...

 

Dan if you were talking about the merits of racing that is one thing. Offering betting tips is another. Any thread that is posted should be there for all to take part in not just a couple that is interested in racing. Especially as there is a racing section.

 

Can we not have a thread about racing in general that people can post tips in?

We can keep using this thread for racing/racing tips, but it's important that we keep it to Saints fans on this forum only, if it starts drawing attention from other fans and people off forum then there'll be a problem. But by all means, so long as it stays within ourselves we can share tips and all hopefully make some money! So this one thread, and regular users of the Saints part of not606, and all is well

 

I've never been interested in racing, but I find this thread quite intriguing.
