Come on Murray Mint Man, you can do it, but, lets remember that if he does not do it he has still made the final. We will hear,"HE IS ****", from unfit failures who wont make the local park.

We English do like to abuse our sporting successes for some reason, I know e is Scottish but trying to destroy success is very much an English trait, in my humble opinion.

Agree, we'll get the usual crap on these boards from an idiot on a computer who has nothing better to do. I hope Andy does it, if the rallies and match goes long, it'll favour Andy. If Roger gets off to a fast start again, he will slaughter Andy.

I'm hoping Andy does well for himself and for us! I'm a little embarrassed that a couple of Norwich posters have let the side down on the main "final" thread, they don't seem to understand that he is representing England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, wishing for a Swiss to beat him is like wanting 1p5wich to win! Unforgivable!

I worry that Federer has too much in his locker on the big stage, but I hope Andy can pull it off!

    COME ON ANDY MURRAY

Good effort Murray, Federer is just a phenomenal sportsman. Playing in a very difficult era, that will probably end up with him never winning a Grand Slam.

Murray choked, in my opinion. 1 set up he was all over Federer, but one of two things occurred (or possibly both occurred). 1. Either he couldn't up it when Roger did because he still can't hack tournament tennis 5 setters with the stupidly small breaks they get between matches, or 2. He just gave up when Federer leveled.

At 1-0, the crowd with him, there was the moment. Federer wasn't even playing at his superb best til around the mid third and fourth sets...

Obviously I'll get the idiots who see the "choked" comment and go white hot with fury and lose their marbles, but they themselves know he might not get a better chance than today, which is unfortunate because it was nice to see people pulling together behind him. Huge congrats to Federer, who looked to be losing his cool under the expectant British fanbase's pressure, but stuck to task, got rid of the nerves and went on to wrap up a comfortable win.

Well done to Murray on getting so far, though. He had perhaps an easier ride to the final than he'll ever get again, but he still beat some tough players and made them look ordinary. I know I'm an amateur who only watches 2/4 grand slams usually, but I think Murray's best chance will be the US like others have said. Good luck to him, he just needs to get over the line once before they come to him like buses I reckon! Once than happens, he'll never hear "choker" ever again!
