all im going to take from this is that he(Bale) would have never said that had Harry not banged on about england etc etc...dont see no other english manager or any other banging on about it..but he set the precedent so players now think for themselves too and not Tottenham. hes really peed me off has Harry.
Hard not to agree if the manager couldn't dampen speculation hard to blame the players for the same thing
Agreed NSSS, but thank **** it's a Euros year. I couldn't take an entire summer of transfer speculation....
Bale is not saying anything too startling. "If an offer is accepted I would have to think about it". Levy wont accept anything that isn't stupid money, so nothing to worry about. And he is not irreplaceable, surely we could find someone more consistent than he is.
on a lighter note chaps, we're tracking scunthorpe's goalkeeper! http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11675/7666979/Spurs-check-on-Slocombe nothing like aiming for top class players! ...
Sam Slocombe is one of several young goalkeepers currently playing in Division One who we are monitoring on a regular basis.
Lets just say these were true. RE Bale: In all honesty, 95% of players in the world wouldn't turn either of them two down and I can't blame/ moan at Bale for saying something like that. They'd have to make a substantial bid though otherwise Bale won't be going anywhere and he's smart enough to understand that. RE Modric: City can turn any players head with the money they have, again though, similar to Bale, they'd have to pay shed loads - above £40m it would seem so it depends how highly they rate him before making any offer.
As per, several papers have presumed that a mere mention of his name alongside the words "Manchester United" make it a done deal. Sort of like when they signed this prospect from Southampton named Gareth Bale...
Old stories regurgitated time and time again. These (long contracted) players wont get the chance to turn down Barcelona or Real, because any bids wont be accepted (unless its an absurd amount thats too good to turn down). If its not The Fail, its the Torygraph or The Sun.
