Rangers take over will therefore be at the same stage this time next week . A week they couldn't afford to lose . No doubt our friends from south side will call it a conspiracy and call for another march .

basically the other teams (apart from celtic) will want rangers to stay in the SPL for a TV deal, so it is likely that they will still be there next season but with a large points deduction to appease celtic and to give them another tainted title.

just my thoughts, but I have been wrong before.

If that statement is any indication i'm guessing you are wrong most of the time.

Any reason why this was delayed?

We have until the final game of the Scottish footballing calendar to get out of administration or else we'll receive another point deduction for next season, time for D&P, Miller, the Blue Knights, basically everyone involved to get the finger out.

Shame the SPL seem more concerened with punishing Rangers even though we at Celtic encourage the youth coaches to deflower young bhoys bums.

Yes I'm sure such behaviour is being endorsed at a very high level within the Celtic youth set up.

But even so, young boy bum sex has nothing to do with Rangers spending a tenner for our fivers. You all bragged back then and now you have the nerve to try indicate that Celtic are in some way responsible for the mess you are in.

What do you mean "in some way responsible."

    They are fully responsible.

We're responsible for the mess you're in?

No one forced you to try and replicate us by winning the big Euro trophy.

Brian McNally has tweeted that according to some very good sources "the wheels of liquidation have been set in motion" and to expect a statement soon

    Just sayin

That's not true, but if it was true I think I'd be even happier.

Doubt it, they are due a few million over the next 2 home games and from the SPL for finishing second. I thinking coming around to season ticket renewals when no one has a clue if the games will be played will be the moment when a decision needs to be made one way or the other.

Not quite the points penalty, apply's if you start next season still in administration. Think the season will start about 2nd-3rd week in july should definately be sorted by then.

They must have been told to delay it but why i can't figure that out. Delaying it will only hamper the bids as the administrators need clarity to accept the bids. Surely these 10 wee clubs would do what they can to help rangers as they need the tv money.

Decision was delayed to allow rangers and duff and duffer to speak to bidders and confirm preferred bid and exclusivity signed so that the SPLs decision has no impact on it.

Given that there's a 1 month cooling off period after any CVA is agreed, going down the liquidation route is now the only way that Rangers can be out of administration before the end of the season.
