We were away at a side pushing for CL positions, and we were missing our best players, and just out of sheer determination, hard work and formation we managed to grind a point from it. If we can go to the likes of West Ham and get a result despite clearly lacking a goal threat and grind a point from it, I'd say no other result this season gives me more confidence. We don't just rely on our best players. If we had ASM and Tripps in the squad today we'd have won that game at least 2-1. I think we're definitely staying up lads. If we managed to get trippier and ASM back soon enough then I see us winning a massive percentage of our games.
I’ve said it since the takeover and again when Bruce was sacked and again when EH was appointed we will stay up. Injuries will dictate how comfortably we will do it but it will be at least 5th bottom which given where Ashley and Bruce left us will be a major miracle and great credit to Howe, the coaches, the players, the fans who believed and the Owners.
