Hes lucky because he didnt have any big decisions to make and must have guessed at least half of them and got 10-15 totally wrong, utterly clueless. Although our throw right before Taarabt got hauled down should have gone to them. That failure to play advantage was shocking.
It seems that walking out at LR turns all the refs into complete morons. I don't think he's been too bad this season when I've seen him, but today he was totally clueless!! And as for not playing advantage when Adel was in? AAgh!!!
Moyes made me laugh on the radio after the game, he said he was dissapointed with the amount of free kicks they gave away...... Really? I wish he had of told the ref then. It was a totally inept performance by him.
The ref had a shocker today, as most of them have had at LR this season. Phil Dowd had a good game last week v Fulham, other than that I'm struggling.
He made it difficult for himself by "stamping his authority" on it by giving petty fouls early on which then meant he had to keep on giving them for "consistency" which just broke up the game far too often. Then when he did the sensible and didnt give a free kick we're all up in arms because he's just given one for exactly the same thing 2 minutes earlier. Tear your hair out stuff really.
