Some interesting games today other than ours. Arsenal Chelsea should be a belter!

Unusually all the top teams are playing on a Saturday with Man City at Fulham and Man U facing Spurs at home. Should be loads of goals.

I see wins for both Manchester clubs but a score draw at the Emirates.

    Predictions?

I usually have no interest in other fixtures - but I find myself keeping an eye on Reading. At home to Newcastle today, and if they fail to win at home again it is begining to loook like a rough season for them....and if Nolan gets injured then I really do fear for them. The same with Villa...the way they played last week, they would struggle to beat most of the teams in the Championship. If that is typical of them, they are in trouble.

As for the other games - I couldn't give two hoots :)

One forecast I am sure about. If Everton win, you will see gomarchingin and saint kitch suddenly posting again ;)

Our boys are going to Everton and I am not worried in the least. We are not the same team that was trounced by Arsenal nor the one that narrowly lost to both Machester clubs. People think we will be a push over and that suits me just fine. If we get a draw I shall be pleased if we win I shall be elated. If we lose then I shall not be surprised as it is par for the course with us and Everton at their place and I shall do a Nigel: reflect upon it; look at a negative; find the positives; draw a line under it; and then move on.

PS I shall be singing the "We hate Bailey" song all afternoon while listening to it on the wireless.

Ah, here's Lamballana's mandatory daily thread! I'm backing Arsenal to beat Chelsea. Reading to lose again. MOTD will be well worth watching this evening (unless Saints get hammered!).

Am now interested in the PL again and will be watching Arsenal game. Don't really care about games at the top (as long as United lose), but am starting to look out for results of teams near and below us. Their results will be nearly as important as our own. I loved going up a place last Sunday even though we didn't play.

I got to experience that several times during the Olympics, it was quite amusing.

And also hoards of Canadians screaming "Canada Canada" with the same rhythm

The USA support was getting on my wick. I understand enthusiasm for your own team, but cheering when someone puts the ball in the water or sand is over the top. The correct response to that is a silent jig but not loud cheers. I know this is acceptable in football but not golf.

Watched England - Pakistan at the Rose Bowl the last two times they have toured. Now that is annoying, they just constantly blow their horns and scream even if it is a dot ball or a defensive block. Great support yes but bloody hell. After 8 hours sat next to that I did have to give someone the option of kindly refraining from blowing the horn constantly or taking a little trip off of the back of the temporary stand!

Gervinho has equalised. Very good timing from his point of view as Arsenal fans were giving him stick on twitter. For example:

Brendan Bennett on Twitter: "Why does Wenger insist on playing Gervinho? He reminds me of a slightly worse version of Ade Akinbiyi."
