Too many players playing out of position, and or not performing and we didnt take the chances that we had, we were over ran in midfield at times because we didnt have Barton. To put it short the team was unbalanced.
Yeah I guess, was always going to be the case when we sold judas, just have to ride it out until the end of the season.
But am afraid to say its a point a game and that is relegation form, though the fact we are on 36 points should mean we'll get enough points to survive.

Aye, I seriously doubt we will go down, but I dont think its going to be quite the finish we were all hoping for, I think some of us, including myself have eaten a bit of humble pie today, top 10 finish should be our aim now, which is still good and something we can build on next season, we need to get the points on the board to survive first of course, which has always been the main aim.
Yeah, I think most of us (including myself) got shot back down to Earth today, I'd settle for anywhere above 14th right here on the spot.
We have no creativity what so ever in the middle of the park. Everton pushed their fullbacks out tight to the byline to prevent out wing threat and without that we're nothing. We need Ireland to come in and hopefully HBA soon.
Nolan is a passenger 75% of the time, was in the championship and has been this season, but his goals and leadership are something we cant really play without, realistically though we need to be looking to replace him with a younger model who can create and run faster than 0.01mph. Ireland could fit the bill if he could get his arse fit.
Agreed about Ireland, however would only like to see HBA a couple of times this season as I think we have enough to stay up and don't want to risk him ala Gosling.
Yeah, you're right on HBA. Got high hopes for Ireland and i'm hoping he can be the creative force in the middle that we've been missing for the last few seasons.
