Two years for a fight is a ****ing disgrace. Wonder what the boro **** in the white shirt gets? As he seems to be more than ready to have a go and is definitely inciting it.
Drunk lads in city centre fight shocker. Bit of a stretch to connect this to football hoolies. One or two surnames there with a family history of bellendery.
I remember about 10 years ago it all kicked off in Tunnel bar with Boro fans , remember a bouncer staggering out after getting hit on the head with a bottle
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/disgraced-female-maths-teacher-behind-10597216 More to the point...Why didn't my maths teacher look like this?
Bit of a one sided fight in the courthouse. How come no people from Middlesboro were up on a charge ?
That punch at the end is a ****'s trick - seems like it's ended, back turned and then take advantage. Cowardly as ****.
"Ness had attended his first football match that day, with his barrister Charlotte Baines stating he was "not ordinarily a football fan, rather a rugby supporter."" Shocking dirty egg chasers.
Seems harsh and one sided. I understand the link to football but it tenuous at best - more of a birthday gig gone pear-shaped through too much lager (allegedly) - move on to gin and stop ****ing kicking, it's girlie.
I was just coming on to say that last punch was a corker. Well played sir The boro don't like it up em. Fannies.
The link to football is deliberate to make the case more serious then it actually is. If football is linked it also brings a harsher punishment. Also the police get a thumbs up for preventing trouble earlier in the day ? WTF has to do with Hull City ? If these lads had been as Beverley Races all day would the HDM headline be screaming out 'Beverley race goers in mass brawl' ? If there wasn't this very tedious link to football no-one would have jailed, it would have been passed off as just another loads of drunks having a row.
I remember when one year the local plod declared Beverley races ladies day was a huge success after there were more arrests in one day than an entire season at City.
Whilst the police, cps & courts do over prosecute football violence I get more wound up by how the media sensationalize it compared to rowdiness and fighting in any other situation. Rugby hooliganism continues to be down played by the HDM whilst these lads get the full name and shame treatment. Archaic journalism sticking to a 1980's agenda.
Oh go on, I'll do it. Castro's made reference to it on here and CI at least 50 times previously. Similar to mentioning workers' paradises; The Grauniad (at anyone even remotely critcising the right wing press); attendance/population proportions; iPad; spellings, punctuation and grammar etc.
Humberside Police just released a statement that this fixture has no history of trouble and they were taken unawares. City's first home game of the 2017/2018 will also see all pubs down Anlaby Rd closed as a precaution to prevent a repetition.
