I told you 5 weeks ago we would win it.
I was part of this.. I did my part (okay...mostly putting German flags on German seats... but heyho that was my job). I am just so proud that I was there
But the lionesses were amazing...and came back.
So proud of being a part of this wonderful tournament.

I am so happy we won the Euro tonight, definitely in tears. I feel fulfilled. Football loving girls of my age ( near 70), will understand the feeling that we were never given the chance to experience this.
I was banned from playing football, ..I never could have done this. It was not allowed.. Thank you lionesses 2022.

I was good at football, top scorer for my junior team... but at the age of 10 ...I had to stop...and take up a ladies sport...hockey. I became a goalie...and quite a good one too....but.....
Tonight hasmade me very happy

Speaking as somebody that saw the last 20 minutes of the final and not a second of any match prior to that, I always knew they’d win it and I’m their biggest fan.
