Interesting article on BBC Sport about RB Leipzig, playing Spurs in the Champions League. RB doesn’t stand for Red Bull, but you are meant to think it does, it’s some fake word about lawn sports that they could abbreviate into advertising.

RB Leipzig are widely assumed to be the most hated team in German football, for the way they have bought themselves up the league system, manipulating the 50+1 fan ownership rule along the way, and establishing a network of clubs in Germany, Austria, Brazil, and the US, with players and coaches moving between them at will. Bit like Citeh with their clubs in Spain, the US, Australia and Japan. But more effective.

The article reckons that Dortmund, Union Berlin and Augsburg fans are the most violently opposed to RB. I’d love to know how more extreme they are than the Dynamo Dresden fans who threw a severed bulls head at the RB players when the teams played in a cup game during RBs instant ascent up the leagues.

Nearly all Liverpool since that early goal.
AM will be very tough to break down and they look dangerous on the break.

Worst I've ever seen Alexander Arnold play tonight, but I suppose he's allowed one every so often.
Athletico are so good at defending.
Liverpool will struggle to break them down at Anfield.

extremely tenuous link, but whatever became of the Icelandic striker the Rs tried to buy a few years ago?

Just looked him up. His name was Koalbed Methane or Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, something like that. He’s managed about 44 games in 5 years. Bullet dodged.

Problem is standard of refs as they are the one's making the decision in the office.....question is why didn't on field ref look at pitch side monitor...
