Cherry-picking one game in order to prove a thesis is not a logical or scientific approach. We all do it at times, of course, because none of us is as logical or scientific as we like to think we are.

A 6.6 score indicates a satisfactory performance but nothing to shout about, though Hanley did win more aerial contests than any other player. At 6.78, he's Scotland's second highest player over 3 Nations League games.
For those who haven't seen Smith's comments on players:DS said he has been impressed with Sinani since he’s come back from loan so I believe he will be staying with the club this season
Thanks RER, apologies I wrote this and then saw you had quoted the above on a different thread. For those who haven't seen Smith's comments on players:
“It's also been important for the loan players. I’ve been really impressed with Danel, who’s been on loan at Huddersfield all season. He’s got a really good picture when the ball arrives, plays a one-two touch really well and has a really good delivery from set pieces. Onel has made his mark in training already, as well as Jordan (Hugill) and Sam (McCallum), who’ve adjusted really well to the pace of the squad. Isaac Hayden trained the first week with us but he got a little bit of swelling on the knee, so we were a bit concerned about that and we're just resting him at the moment. The international guys will have a little bit more work to do to catch up, but they’ve had a shorter break than the others.”
It’s also worth pointing out hat DS said he deliberately brought them in to the game tired and stressed to see how they would cope against a team much further raking in their pre season.Finished 2-2. Good result as this is Regenburg's last pre-season match so they're well ahead of us on fitness and training. Great for Jon Rowe to get his first goal for the senior team and as Dunc says Cantwell seems to be working hard to get back in the side.

Sounds like the average day at work for most peopleAnd test their decision making when they are tired and stressed.
Also applies to us retired people!Sounds like the average day at work for most people

If Cantwell stays I think DS will start him for the first 5, he is a confidence player. Sargent is coming back from an injury, so I wouldn't expect him to start. Sinani makes a good case for coming straight into the team as well. Rashica being given the number 7 shirt seems like a bit of a statement so I can't see him being dropped. Gunn or Krul is anyone's guess at the moment, my choice would be Gunn.Anyone else expecting (should our squad remain as is + Sara) our line up at Cardiff to look like this...
Krul
Aarons Hanley Gibson Giannoulis
Lees-Melou Mclean
Sargent Dowell Rashica
Pukki
??
Hayden and Sara both recovering from injury. I have a gut feeling he will go with what he knows. Personally id give Sinani and even Cantwell ago if they continue to impress, but just cant see Smith going straight in with changes unless Hayden is fit.
